WELCOME TO MY BLOG

This is where I have been blogging since September 2011 all of my research and production throughout the making of my Music Magazine. It has been very helpful as a storage place for each step of the production. Firsly it shows the preliminary tast we completed, which was a front cover and contents page of a sixth form magazine, and then after, once skills had developed, it shows our music magazine task, which included a front cover, contents page and double page spread.

Front Cover

• Seasonal theme was obvious.
• The puffs were good
• It was appealing 
• The logo was good with the headphones on, and could obviously see it was a music magazine.
• The font used was good for all.
• The picture of the band is great, can see they're all friendly and girly.

Contents

• Colour scheme matches.
• Still connotes a summer seasonal theme.
• Can tell the main focus of this magazine is 'Priority'
• Good how other pictures are black and white to give more attention to the main.

Double Page Spread

• Great layout!
• Looks appealing, and colour scheme still works.
• Text boxes being slightly coloured in makes it easier to see writing.
• Background looks great, and specifically chosen.
• Picture around the edge introduce this new band very well.

More Changes made

I had decided i didn't like the previous contents page I made, however it is very similar to this one. This is not finished yet.
I have included links to social networking as social networking is an interest of my target audience, and it also it a way of promoting my magazine in other ways, and creating a bigger relationship with my readers.
Where i have wrote the page number by the pictures, i used the spray eraser tool, which gives a spray paint effect, so the erasing has dispersed over the area i removed. The pictures are black and white so that the main picture (Of priority) is the definite main attraction, i have also shown this by giving the page number of the main picture a different colour and font (the font being the one used by the typography of the magazine title) giving links that it is the main picture, again.
